All my girls are kept indoors, but do have access to an outdoor enclosed pen area for when the weather is fine to allow them the benefit of the fresh air and the opportunity to try and catch flies and spiders. They also like to huddle together and whisper about the different ways to bring down the next wood pigeon that gets too close!! Inside our home I have kicked my Husband out of his office and converted the room into a maternity/kitten ward so my girls have a quiet space away from all the hustle and bustle, for the last week or so of their pregnancy and the first few weeks of the kittens lives. Once the kittens are well developed and have become confident in their surroundings, they will then be gradually introduced to the rest of the house, it’s noises, feline companions and my two boys - once they are confident with all that, they should be ready for anything!!! |
